Repair, Firmware & Cleaning

Practical guides for the repair loop, firmware questions, cleaning steps, and reported technical problems.

ReStory is a narrative-driven repair and shop-management game set in mid-2000s Tokyo.

Community guides report that competitions unlock after 25 reviews and an inbox message.

Firmware procedures are community reported; the Guitar Legend and MyPod issue was listed as fixed in patch 1.0.009r.

Community guides say to disassemble, clean visible dirt, check the notebook, and reassemble in order.

Players report save freezes, while official known issues have included firmware, ultrawide, and sonic-bath problems.
