ReStory Endings and Choices: What Is Confirmed

Separate ReStory's officially confirmed branching story from conflicting community ending counts, with spoiler-safe notes for key customer arcs.

Cross-checkedVerified Aug 22, 2026

The official store page confirms a branching story with multiple endings shaped by customer choices. It does not publish an official ending count, route names, or complete decision tree.

Why guides disagree on the number

Community sources count outcomes differently. The GamesRef homepage labels an endings section with two endings, while a Destructoid guide discusses default, happy, and hidden outcomes. Other launch guides use four labels by treating additional result variants as separate endings.

The safest interpretation is to distinguish final scenes, customer-arc resolutions, and community route names instead of forcing them into one unsupported official number.

Choice points the official page establishes

The Steam description gives two examples: responding to a troubling discovery in a former gangster's phone and helping a student communicate romantic feelings. Those examples prove that customer interaction matters; they do not publish the full consequences.

Show community-recorded customer arcs

Destructoid's 10 August guide describes four important arcs involving Hashimoto, the Eggotchi customer, the student, and the gangster. It connects additional follow-up scenes with happier or hidden outcomes. Treat these labels and conditions as one author's launch-build observations, not official terminology.

Save before major conversations when you want to compare outcomes, and record the patch used for any route claim.
